Trump Media to Launch High-Speed Data Feed of Truth Social Posts for Financial Firms
Starting August 1, Trump Media & Technology Group will offer institutional clients like trading firms a licensed, high-speed data feed from its Truth Social platform, aiming to create a new revenue stream.

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of Truth Social, has announced it will launch a new paid data service on August 1, 2026, providing institutional clients with faster access to posts from the platform's most influential accounts. The service, named "Truth API," is designed to deliver content milliseconds before it becomes publicly available, targeting financial firms, including high-frequency and algorithmic traders who rely on speed to react to market-moving information.
The feed will provide a low-latency, machine-readable stream of posts from 10 of the highest-ranking accounts on Truth Social. These accounts include President Donald Trump, his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and prominent supporters like Dan Bongino and Sean Hannity. Subscribers will also gain access to a historical archive of posts dating back to 2022.
A New Revenue Strategy
This initiative marks TMTG's first venture into data licensing, a move intended to establish a "meaningful, ongoing source of revenue for the company," according to interim CEO Kevin McGurn. The company stated that until now, firms have relied on manual monitoring or unauthorized data scraping, which violates the platform's terms of service. TMTG has confirmed that it has already signed up customers ahead of the official launch.
While TMTG has not officially released pricing details, several news outlets have reported that the company has discussed charging up to $100,000 per month for the service. A discounted rate of $60,000 per month was reportedly offered for firms committing to a three-year plan.
Market Context
The launch comes as TMTG seeks new ways to monetize its platform. The company's stock has fallen approximately 27% in 2026. For the first quarter of 2026, the company reported revenues of $0.9 million and a net loss of $405.9 million, the majority of which consisted of non-cash losses. President Trump's posts on social media have previously been linked to significant movements in financial markets.
The announcement of the Truth API service was made under the leadership of Kevin McGurn, who was appointed interim CEO in April 2026 after Devin Nunes stepped down from the role.
